ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court with a grievance that the respondent police are harassing her.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the respondent police have not, in any manner, harassed the petitioner. He would further submit that the petitioner is a known offender and that her husband has as many as eleven previous cases to his credit. In view of the same, during the election period, the respondent police were only conducting surveillance, and in that connection, they had visited the petitioner's house. The learned Government Advocate would further submit that such visit was only as part of routine surveillance and that, as on date, no case has been registered against the petitioner.
