Perusal of the case diary produced by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reveals that the investigation in Crime No.18 of 2019 for the offence under Sections 143, 176 and 201 of IPC., has been completed by the sixth respondent police and final report has already been filed before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Tirunelveli and the same was taken on file as S.T.C.No.221 of 2019.

2. In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that at this point of time, there is no purpose in transferring the investigation of the case, which has already been reached logical end by filing final report.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that the trial is posted to 04.02.2022 and the Investigation Officer has been instructed to expedite marshalling the witnesses.

4. Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
