RESPONDENTS PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents No.1 to 3 to immediately remove the encroachments put up by the 4th Respondent at Melamadai, Ward No. 30 Madurai by considering the proceedings issued by the 2nd Respondent dated 20.02.2017.

ORDER : This Writ Petition is coming on this day (28.08.2018) and upon perusing the submission given by Thiru.T.S.MOHAMMED MOHIDEEN learned Standing Counsel for the Corporation of Madurai (Respondents 1 to 3) this court made the following order:- (Order of the Court was made by T.RAJA, J.) This Writ Petition is listed today under the caption 'for reporting compliance'.

2.When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel for the respondent Corporation would submit that as per the order of this Court dated 16.08.2018, the respondents have removed the alleged encroachment. He would further submit that as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the encroacher was using two ways to enter into his house, in view of the demolition of the encroached stair cases projecting on the common pathway, he is advised to have entry to his house from the other side. Learned counsel has also produced the communication dated 27.08.2018 of the Commissioner, which shows that the encroachment has been removed. The said submission is recorded. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed.
