Mr.S.P.Maha Rajan Special Government Pleader (for all cases) COMMON JUDGMENT [Judgment of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ appeals have been filed challenging the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)Nos.29403, 29408, 29403, 29405, 29407 and 29406 of 2024 respectively.

2.The facts shows that the appellants purchased the house site from the unapproved layout. The purchase of house site by the appellants is not falling under the explanation clause II sub-section (2) of section 22-A of the Registration Act. Therefore, the refusal slip issued by the Sub Registrar is inconsonance with Section 22-A(2) of the Registration Act. The learned Single Judge also citing the said provision dismissed the writ petitions and this Court do not find any infirmity in the same.

3.Consequently, the writ appeals stand dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
