ORDER

This criminal revision case has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned judgment of conviction and sentenced passed by 1/4

the IV Additional District Judge, Tiruvelveli in Crl.A.No.13 of 2018 dated 01.07.2021 confirming the judgment of conviction and sentenced passed by the learned District Munsif, Tenkasi in S.T.C.No.75 of 2016 dated 04.01.2018 and set aside the same.

2.The matter has been settled between the parties out of the Court. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that compensation of Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Lakhs only) has been awarded by the trial Court, which was confirmed by the appellate Court. Therefore, the above said settlement has been reached between the parties with regard to the above said compensation amount.

3.In view of the settlement arrived by the parties, 5% of the agreed amount was directed to be deposited to the credit of High Court Legal Services Authority, that was also complied by the petitioner. In view of the settlement between the parties, this revision petition is allowed. The judgment and conviction rendered by the Courts below against the petitioner are set aside, the revision petitioner is acquitted from the all the charges.
