O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for the issuance of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the fourth respondent herein Nil dated 07.08.2018 and quash the same and consequently directing the respondents herein to conduct the elections for the posts of Office bearers/Members of FRD 76 Pasipattinam Women Cooperative Society Ltd., Pasipattinam, Thiruvadanai Taluk,
2. Admittedly, the election is over. What is going to be held is the selection of the Office Bearers, viz., President, Secretary, etc. Therefore, the grievance of the petitioner is with respect to categorization. Thus, we are of the view that inasmuch as the election is already over, the only way open to the petitioner is to invoke Section 90 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983. Thus, we do not find any merit in this Writ Petition. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is given two weeks time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to raise a dispute before the Registrar of Cooperative Societies. The petitioner is also given liberty to move appropriate interim application before the aforesaid authority. As and when the same is filed, the Registrar concerned shall consider and dispose of the application seeking interim order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of application from the petitioner.
3.
The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
