ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.) The matter in issue pertains to removal of encroachment in Paisal Channel which is leading from Sinthamani Periyakanmai and it is the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 as well as the learned Standing Counsel appearing for Madurai Corporation that the said encroachments have been removed and they also assure, on instructions, that there will not be any further or new or fresh encroachments and the said submission made on instructions, is taken on record.

2. In the light of the same, nothing remains for further adjudication in this matter and accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is also closed.
