W.P.(MD) No.7349 of 2019 the records pertaining to the impugned proceedings of the fifth respondent in DA:DGM(RKM)-ZO : VIG:8970:928:2018-19, dated 04.03.2019 fixing the Inquiry Authority and Presenting Officer to conduct the enquiry on the Memorandum of Allegations and Articles of Charge ZO:DA:DGM:(SA)-ZO-VIG/8970:275:2017-18 dated 19.03.2018, on the allegations against the petitioner already conducted enquiry and imposed punishment as per the proceedings in DO:DA:AGM (RR): VIG:File-8595:2715:2016-2017, dated 30.09.2016 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents 1 and 3 to instruct the fifth respondent not to proceed further on any allegations or charges against the petitioner.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Bank made a submission that during the pendency of this writ petition, the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner has been concluded and punishment has also been imposed and the petitioner has challenged the punishment by way of filing a separate writ petition. Thus, the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

2. In view of the above submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Bank, the writ petition is disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
