PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records connected with the detention order passed in M.H.S.Confdl. No.83 of 2022, dated 30.05.2022 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu or body of the detenu by namely, the petitioner's son, ie., Selvakumar, aged about 21 years, son of Mariappan, now detained at the Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the detention order, passed in M.H.S.Confdl. No.83 of 2022, dated 30.05.2022 by the second respondent, has been revoked by the Advisory Board vide

G.O.Rt.No.4078, dated 05.07.2022, hence, nothing survives in this petition. Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
