PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to grant permission to celebrate "Aadi Kodai Festival" at Arulmigu Shri Perumal Swamy & Periapiratti Amman Temple, Melaramasamiyapuram, Nanagaimozhi Village, Thiruchendur Taluk, Tuticorin District dated 16.08.2018 based on the petitioner's application dated 11.08.2018. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to grant permission to celebrate "Aadi Kodai Festival" at "Arulmigu Shri Perumal Swamy & Periapiratti Amman Temple", Melaramasamiyapuram, Nanagaimozhi Village, Thiruchendur Taluk, Tuticorin District.

2.In this regard a writ petition was filed in W.P(MD). No.16969 of 2018 and this Court by an order dated 01.08.2018, directed the second respondent to consider the representation and take appropriate action. Pursuant to the order passed by this Court, the second respondent has already placed the matter before the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thirichendur, to convene Peace Committee Meeting.

3.In view of the same, the petitioner is also directed to participate in the Peace Committee Meeting and the parties shall abide by the decision arrived at in the Peace Committee Meeting. 4.The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
