PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of to issue an order or direction, more in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the respondent to issue the joint patta to the petitioner and other legal heirs for the property in S.No.714/1 admeasuring 1.25 cents out of 6 cents situated at T.Pomminaickanpatti Thimmarasanaickanur Village, Theni District based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2020 within the time fixed by this Court. O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue the joint patta to the petitioner and other legal heirs based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2020 within the stipulated time.

2. This Court without expressing any opinion on merits, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, after issuing notice to the petitioner and rival claimants if any, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing and thereafter pass order within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs.
