Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant 6 days emergency leave to the petitioner's elder son by name Muneeshwaran, son of Sivaperumal, aged 28 years confining at Madurai Central Prison as convict prisoner for making arrangements and to participate in the petitioner's younger son's marriage by name Sabarimani scheduled to be held on 16.06.2024 in pursuance of Rule 6 of the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules, 1982 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2024 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

[Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to grant 6 days emergency leave to the petitioner's elder son by name Muneeshwaran, son of Sivaperumal, aged 28 years confining at Madurai Central

Prison as convict prisoner by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 09.05.2024 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that three days emergency leave has been granted to the petitioner's son with police escort.

3. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. No costs. [A.D.J.C., J.] [K.R.S., J.] NCC :
