For Respondent : Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Cr.No.25 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A1, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under section 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, 474, 506(i) and 120(b) IPC, in Crime No.25 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the very same petitioner has already filed anticipatory bail application before this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.10123 of 2020. The matter is pending disposal, now the petitioner changed his counsel and filed another application.

CRL OP(MD).No.10414 of 2020 3.In the light of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, it is clear that earlier, the petitioner herein had filed an anticipatory bail application before this Court and the same is pending. Without disclosing the same, once again the petitioner has filed yet another application before this Court, by changing his counsel, for the same relief. The act of the petitioner is nothing but, a clear abuse of process of law.

4.In the above circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with cost. The petitioner is directed to deposit a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) to the credit of The Sittar Koodam, Num Kulandhaigal Illam, 9/24, Arutpa Nagar, Kallikudi, Madurai District. (Account No.974101551807, IFSC No.CNRB0000974, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Registry is directed to list the matter after four weeks, for reporting compliance.
