(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Today (30.06.2025), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3 to 6 would submit that as of now, there is no river sand mining permitted. However, if any illegal sand 2/5

mining is identified, the authorities competent are bound to initiate appropriate action in the manner known to law.
