PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents 1 and 2, to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to enjoy her agricultural land comprised in Survey No.90/2 to the extent of 54 cents, Survey No.90/9 to the extent of 1 Acre 95 cents, Survey No.90/11 to the extent of 31 cents, Survey No.98/2 to the extent of 80 cents, totally 3 Acres 60 cents, T.Kokkulam Village, Tirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, based on the complaints of the petitioner, dated 29.06.2020 and 04.08.2020.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the respondents 1 and 2, to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner to enjoy her agricultural land comprised in Survey No.90/2 to the extent of 54 cents, Survey No.90/9 to the extent of 1 Acre 95 cents, Survey No.90/11 to the extent of 31 cents, Survey No.98/2 to the extent of 80 cents, totally 3 Acres 60 cents, at T.Kokkulam Village, Tirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, based on the complaints of the petitioner, dated 29.06.2020 and 04.08.2020.

2. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon receipt of the complaint dated 29.06.2020 and 04.08.2020, given by the petitioner, an enquiry has been initiated in current enquiry C.No.108 of 2020 and the same is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent. Further, if necessary, the 2nd respondent Police is ready to give necessary police protection to the petitioner.

3. Hence, recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
