ORDER

Heard the learend counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the competent authority submitted that an award was passed as early as on 18.03.2021 and that the compensation amount had also been credited to the account of the writ petitioner. I wanted to know whether there is any proof for having dispatched the order copy. No such proof is forthcoming.

3. I therefore direct the competent authority to formally serve the award copy on the petitioner in the manner known to law. Upon receipt of the same, the petitioner's right to seek enhancement is always available. In other words, limitation will start running from the date of such service. 3/5

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
