O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent not to impose any punishment, without conducting proper enquiry, based on the show cause notice made in Na.Ka.No.7928/A1/2020, dated 15.07.2020.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that they are ready to conduct the enquiry.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Standing counsel, this Court directs the respondent to conduct proper enquiry, based on the show cause notice in Na.Ka.No.7928/A1/2020, dated 15.07.2020 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has already given a reply to the show cause notice, dated 15.07.2020. Therefore, this Court is of the view that there is no impediment for the respondent to conduct the domestic enquiry and pass appropriate orders.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
