This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the 1st respondent to give appropriate instructions to the 2nd respondent to give adequate police protection for the life and limb of the petitioner and petitioner's property comprised in lands situated in Survey No.331/2 respectively, measuring an extent of 6 cents, in Malampatti Village, Melur Taluk at Madurai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 03.09.2020.

Crl.O.P.[MD]No.10459 of 2020 2, on instructions, would submit that upon receipt of the representation dated 03.09.2020, given by the petitioner, an enquiry has been initiated in current paper enquiry C.No.58/INS/MLR/Circle/ 2020 and the same is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent. Further, if necessary, the 2nd respondent Police is ready to give necessary police protection to the petitioner.

3. Hence, recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate(crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
