ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent to correct his date of birth as ''28.08.1980'', by considering his application dated 08.10.2024.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, his date of birth has been wrongly mentioned as ''18.06.1974'' in his passport, instead of 28.08.1980. Accordingly, he submitted an application to the respondent on 08.10.2024, requesting to change his date of birth as ''28.08.1980''. As no action has been taken on his request so far, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner has not furnished all the relevant documents. However, if the petitioner furnishes all the necessary documents, his application will be considered in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with a direction to the petitioner to furnish all the necessary documents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such

documents, the respondent shall consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within two weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.
