The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to rectify the errors in the FMB and adangal register pertaining to lands in S.No.488/70 and S.No.488/71 situated at Vilacheri Village, West Taluk, Madurai. The petitioner has made necessary representation in this regard on 30.09.2024. 2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that though a direction is sought as against the respondents 3 and 4, the proceedings are pending on the file of the second respondent. 4.In the light of the above, it would suffice to dispose of the Writ Petition, directing the second respondent to conclude the enquiry seeking rectification of the errors in FMB and adangal register and pass final orders, after affording a fair opportunity to the petitioner and any other parties who may be interested / affected and the documents produced by the parties shall also be considered. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
