Respondents PRAYER : This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to convene peace committee meeting enabling all the villagers are equally given with an opportunity to participate in the Temple festival namely "Mulaipari" for the Sri Sapthakanni Mariamman Thirukovil and Sri Manthaipidari Amman Thirukovil at Maravaikudi Village, Panivasal Group, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by postponing the Temple festival to be conducted on the instance of the respondents 5 to 8 from 28.09.2020 to a convenient date ensuring the participation of the entire villagers to secure their religious believes as guaranteed under the Constitution of India.

The petitioner filed this writ petition praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to convene the 1/3
peace committee meeting enabling all the villagers be equally given with an opportunity to participate in the Temple festival namely "Mulaipari" for the Sri Sapthakanni Mariamman Thirukovil and Sri Manthaipidari Amman Thirukovil at Maravaikudi Village, Panivasal Group, Kadaladi Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, by postponing the Temple festival to be conducted at the instance of the respondents 5 to 8 from 28.09.2020 to a convenient date, ensuring the participation of the entire villagers.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.
3.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, would submit that in the petition mentioned village for conducting "Mulaipari" festival, the respondents 1 to 4 had not given any permission and also the said "Mulaipari" festival has not been performed by the village people. He would further submit that the alleged temple festival had started on 28.09.2020 and as of now, the same has been concluded. The said submission is recorded. 4.Therefore, the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reveals the fact that since the alleged "Mulaipari" has not been conducted and also due to the reason that the entire festival is concluded, as of now, no further order is necessary in this application.
5.In view of the above observation, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
