The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a limited prayer.

2.According to the petitioner, her husband died on 17.02.2014 during in service. Thereafter, the writ petitioner made a representation on 22.06.2016 to consider her for the compassionate appointment. However, till date, the respondent has not considered the petitioner's representation. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3.By considering the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought for before this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on merits, this Court directs the respondent transport to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
