ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents No.1 and 2 to produce the person or body of the detenue namely Muthuselvi, W/o.Marimuthu, female aged 19 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.Today, when the case was taken up for hearing, the respondent police have produced the detenue, namely, Muthuselvi, wife of the petitioner herein. She stated that the marriage between the petitioner and herself was solemnized on 28.08.2022, which is an arranged marriage and thereafter, she lived with him in the matrimonial home for three months and subsequently, she returned back to the parental home, from where she had gone to meet one of her friends at Tiruppur and again returned back to the parental home and now she wants to go with the parents and reside with them for sometime and thereafter, she will join 2/4Page 2 of 4

the petitioner, who is her husband.

3. The said statement made by the detenue is recorded. In view of the above, since there is no illegal custody against the detenue, this petition is closed.
