ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamusto quash the impugned proceedings of the second respondent in NO.Thi4/Ka.Mu.Aa/19/2018, dated 20.7.2018 and to quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents to pay crop insurance amount to the Petitioner under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yonana for the year 2016-2017.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.Though the learned counsel for the Petitioner sought for a larger relief, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the Petitioner restricted his claim to consider his claim within the time limit fixed by this Court. 2/4

4.In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the Writ Petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the request made by the Petitioner seeking crop insurance amount to the Petitioner under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and dispose of the claim within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
