2. The petitioner was employed in the appellant co-operative society. After serving the institution for about 34 years, he retired as secretary (in-charge) in the year 2009. Since his retiral benefits were not settled, he filed WP(MD)No.1527 of 2021. The learned single Judge vide order dated 26.02.2021 directed the settlement of the retirement benefits. Questioning the same, this writ appeal has been filed.

3. We do not find any merit in this writ appeal. The status of the writ petitioner is not in dispute. That the benefits have to be paid to him 2/4

is not in dispute. Therefore, the writ petition was rightly allowed. Interference with the said order is not warranted. The writ appeal is dismissed. No costs.
