PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the impugned notification passed by the 2nd respondent in Ka.No.20/U.Se.Po./Thiru/2019, dated 08.03.2019 and to 1/4

quash the same as illegal and further, to direct the respondents to place the check dam at the Virisuli River before the outlet of the said River to the Mallanur Tank ensuring equal distribution of water to the Mallanur Tank and Senavayal Tank and further, to forbear the respondents from placing the check dam at Survey Nos.368 and 369 of Nagarikathan Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District, which is commenced to the constructed, affecting the free flow of water to Senavayal Tank.
