The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 to 4 to conduct public auction by way of public tender for fishing right in Chellappankottai Kanmoi, Valanthur Panchayat, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.12.2018. 2/4

2. The third respondent filed a counter-affidavit, wherein it is stated that public auction would be conducted for fishing rights in Chellappankottai Kanmoi, as per G.O.Ms.No.201, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries (FS-6) Department, dated 19.10.2017.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives in this Writ Petition for adjudication. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
