O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the Respondents 2 and 3 not to harass and interfere in civil matters. 2.According to the petitioner, he is a Building Contractor and doing construction work for one Abdul Azeez. While he was doing construction, the respondents 2 and 3 came to the spot and insisted the petitioner not to put up any construction, since there is a civil dispute between the Abdul Azeez and the respondents 2 and 3. Therefore, he sent a representation before the respondent police on 16.04.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the 4th respondent has lodged a complaint against Abdul Azeez. Based on the same, they have called the Abdul Azeez for enquiry and they have not called the petitioner for enquiry. The respondent police never insisted the petitioner not to put up construction. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication. 2/5

4.The learned counsel for the 4th respondent would submit that she lodged a complaint against one Abdul Azeez for the encroachment of public road. Thereby, the police called the said Abdul Azeez for enquiry. Apart from that, she has not lodged any complaint against the petitioner.

5.Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner and the respondent police also denied the alleged harassment made by the petitioner and based on the complaint of the 4th respondent, they have called only the said Abdul Azeez, not the petitioner. 6.Recording the aforesaid submission, this petition is closed. However, if there is a property dispute between the parties, they can approach the civil Court and seek remedy in the manner known to law. 28.04.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No PNM 3/5
