ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders, to transfer the investigation in Crime No.144 of 2023 on the file of the second respondent police to the third respondent police, further directing the third respondent police to conduct the investigation and file final report before the concerned Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.144 of 2023 as girl missing; that the body of the Subiksha was found nearby the house of the petitioner; that the case was altered and that the post-mortem report would reveal that the case is 'drowning'. He would further submit that the investigation is pending.

3. Considering the above, the second respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and file final report within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
