ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Selection Grade Assistant of the respondent Transport Corporation, who attained superannuation on 30.06.2009.

2. According to the petitioner, his terminal benefits were released on various dates. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation on 07.04.2022 seeking interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

3. Considering the above said facts, the respondents herein are directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% interest from the due date till the date on which the amounts were disbursed to the writ petitioner, within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
