Order : This criminal miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.BALAMURUGAN.A, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate (Crl. side) on behalf of the Respondent, the Court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition No.

appear before the Inspector of Police, Ponnamaravathi Police Station, Pudukkottai District, instead of the respondent police, Odaipatti Police Station, Theni District, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6959 of 2024 dated 16.05.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is agricultural coolie and it is very difficult to travel for more than 180 Kms from his residence and hence, he filed this petition to modify the above said condition.

3. Considering the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is allowed and the condition No.6(b) is modified to the effect that the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
