PRAYER :- These Criminal Original Petitions filed U/s.482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to withdraw the cheque case in STC.Nos.1071,1072 & 1070 of 2021 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Melur, Madurai District and Transfer the same to the Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Ramanathapuram any other Judicial Magistrate Court at Ramanathapuram.

These petitions have been listed today under the caption ''for extension of time'' to dispose of the case in STC.Nos.1070/2021 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Melur

2. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur has sent a letter in D.No. 1482/2025 dated 09.07.2025, requesting extension of further time to dispose of STC.Nos.1070/2021 pursuant to the order of this Court dated 23.02.2024.

3. Being satisfied with the reasons assigned by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur, this Court is inclined to grant further time to dispose of the above case. Accordingly, four months time is extended for disposing the case in STC.Nos.1070/2021 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
