ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to to direct the the respondents to permit the petitioner to conduct Karagattam program on 11.05.2023, music concert program on 12.05.2023 and Aada Padal cultural program on 13.05.2023 respectively at about 07.00 pm to 10.00 pm onwards during the temple festival of Arulmigu Periya Sudalaimada Swamy Temple, South Karungulam, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District and for usage of mike set.
2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the villagers of the petitioner proposed to conduct Karagattam program on 11.05.2023, music concert program on 12.05.2023 and Aada Padal cultural program 2/4
on 13.05.2023 respectively at about 07.00 pm to 10.00 pm onwards during the temple festival of Arulmigu Periya Sudalaimada Swamy Temple, South Karungulam, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District and hence, he sent representation to the respondents on 26.04.2023 and it is still pending.
3.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that the representation of the petitioner is pending for consideration. 4.In view of the above, this Court is inclined to grant permission only to conduct music concert on 12.05.2023 between 07.00 pm to 09.00 pm and as far as other programmes concerned, this Court is not inclined to grant permission. Accordingly, this writ petition is partly-allowed. No costs.
