Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records on the file of the 1st respondent in connection with the impugned selection of the 4th respondent for the post of Anganwadi Worker in the Primary Anganwadi Centre of Idaiankulam East, Srivilliputhur Block, Virudhunagar District vide his Proceedings No. Nil dated Nil and quash the same as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Clause 2.8 of G.O.(MS) No.110, Social Welfare Nutritious Meal Programme (SW7) Dept., dated 14.06.2012 and consequently direct him to appoint the petitioner in the said post under differently abled (Loco Motor Disability) Priority within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
The appointment of the fourth respondent as an Anganwadi worker is under challenge in the present writ petition with a consequential prayer to appoint the petitioner herein in that place. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.8030 of 2019 2.Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a request that the petitioner's candidature may be considered for some other vacancy proposed to an Anganwadi worker, without disturbing the fourth respondent herein. The request seems to be acceptable.
3.Since the petitioner herein does not intend to proceed with the challenge against the fourth respondent's appointment, no interference is required to the impugned order. However, the petitioner is at liberty to give a representation to the first respondent herein seeking for appointment to any other vacancy, that may be available in the concerned block and on receipt of the same, the first respondent herein, shall consider it, subject to the availability of vacancy for the said post in the block, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of such representation. this Writ Petition is ordered accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
