This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to grant permission and give police protection to conduct cultural programmes such as dance programme i.e. Karagattam on 08.05.2023 at about 9.00 pm to 4.00 am in pursuance to the festival of "Arulmighu Sri Sanjeevirayar Swamy Thirukovil" situated in Peedampatti Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the representation dated 02.05.2023.

2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the petitioner sent representation to the respondents for granting permission and the same is still pending without any orders.

3.In view of the same, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 02.05.2023 within a period of two days. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 04.05.2023 NCC :
