ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to survey the lands comprised in survey numbers 341(7),(9),(9B), (9C), 369(9d), 370(8B), 373(14B), 342 (15), 342(16A), Muthoor Village, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 05.12.2024.

2. I have heard Mr.S.T.Sasidharan Tamilkani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even during the lifetime of the petitioner's father, an online application was made for survey based on patta number 722, standing in his name. However, subsequently, the petitioner's father died and his legal heirs decided to amicably partition the subject properties amongst themselves and in that regard, survey had become necessary. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would make necessary online application and pay the necessary charges for the survey to be conducted. 2/4

Considering the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to make an online application and remit the necessary charges, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such online application being made and necessary charges being paid by the petitioner, the first respondent shall proceed to conduct survey with the assistance of the second respondent and dispose of the petitioner's online application and representation dated 5.12.2024, within a period of twelve weeks, thereafter.
