This writ petition is filed seeking police protection to the petitioner shop located in the road margin on the Alagar Kovil main Road,Tallakulam, Madurai-02.
2.This Court wonders how a street vendor not falling within the regulation of Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act seek such protection when the authorities want to evict unauthorised vendors on the streets while implementing smart City Project. Any event, since there is no representation on the part of the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
