O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to grant permission to conduct the fourth day program Adal Padal cultural event scheduled to be held on 09.05.2025 at about 07.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. at A/m Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Kaliamman Temple, Sevugampatti, Nilakkottai taluk, Dindigul district by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is one of the residents of Sevugampatti village and the villagers decided to celebrate the festival of A/m Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Kaliamman Temple from 06.05.2025 to 09.05.2025. For the festival, they also decided to conduct cultural programme on 09.05.2025. To that effect, they approached the second respondent through representation dated 17.04.2025. No order was passed so far. Hence, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.Side) for the respondents would submit that they received the representation from the petitioner for conducting cultural event of Adal Padal on 09.05.2025 and Page No. 2 of 4

the same is under consideration and they will conduct the enquiry and grant permission by imposing appropriate conditions.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and the respondents also agreed to give police protection and permission for conduct cultural programme of Adal Padal, this Court, recording the same, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and grant permission for conducting Adal Padal programme scheduled on 09.05.2025 in accordance with law by imposing necessary conditions.

5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
