PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant patta in the name of the petitioner on the basis of his representation dated 24.03.2025, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking issuance of a Writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant patta. The petitioner having purchased the subject property has made an application on 24.03.2025, for grant of patta. 2.Heard Mr.K.Gokul, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that patta is standing in the joint names of different persons and hence, 2/5

the application of the petitioner would be considered, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

4.In the light of the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner, after conducting due enquiry and also hearing the objections, if any, of the existing pattathars and pass final orders within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
