This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to take appropriate action against the persons who got promotions and increments by way of obtaining illegal decree / diploma in Engineering by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2018.

2.Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents 2 and 3. By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.According to the learned counsel for the Petitioner, some persons have been given promotions and increments indiscreetly and that the action has got to be taken against the persons who got promotions and increments illegally. The learned counsel would further submit that he made representation in this regard and the same may be considered and disposed of within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.From the pleadings, it appears that the Petitioner is asking this Court to conduct a roving enquiry. If the Petitioner is able to identify the persons concerned, it is open to him to question the illegal promotions and increments obtained by them, by filing separate Writ Petition and by asking the respondents to dispose of the representation is not going to give any relief to anyone, much less the Petitioner.

5. In view of the above, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
