O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner so as to enable the petitioner to enter and use the property in Survey No.417/4B and 417/1B in Aruvikarai Village, Thiruvattar Taluk, Kanyakumari District, by considering the representation, dated 19.09.2020, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

CRL OP(MD)No.10572 of 2020 and 2, on instructions, would submit that upon complaint given by the petitioner, dated 19.09.2020, the 2nd respondent herein registered a case against the 3rd respondent in Crime No.496 of 2020 under Sections 427, 294(b) and 506(i) of IPC. He would further submit that since the petitioner being the witness to such crime number, the 2nd respondent police is ready to provide adequate protection to the petitioner, if necessary.

4. Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
