Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned notification dated 20.04.2025 published by the fourth Respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct 1/6

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed against the impugned notification, dated 20.04.2025 published by the fourth respondent herein and consequently direct the second respondent herein to conduct fresh enquiry in respect of the constitution of school committee after affording due opportunity to all the necessary parties.
2. The petitioner appears to be a member of the Society, namely, Kovilpatti Nadra Uravinmurai Sangam, which is apparently running the fourth respondent school.

It is the specific case of the petitioner that the impugned advertisement, dated 20.04.2025, calling for application for various posts in the School by way of interview on 29.04.2025 at 10.30 a.m., was unnecessary and abuse of the funds of the said society, which is running the fourth respondent School.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there are surplus Teachers and that the appointments are being made pursuant to the impugned advertisement, dated 20.04.2025 and they are contrary to the provisions of Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Act.
5. I have considered the arguments advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel for the fourth respondent.

From the reading of the prayer in the present writ petition and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the fourth respondent, it is evident that the writ petition has become infructuous as of today. Therefore, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed. However, the petitioner may expect respondents 1 to 3 to review whether the appointments made pursuant to the 3/6
advertisement dated 20.04.2025 and the interview held on 29.04.2025 are strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Private Schools (Regulation) Act, 2018 and the Rules made thereunder. The respondents 1 to 3 are hereby directed to examine this issue, including the surplus teacher matter raised by the petitioner.
7. The writ petition stands dismissed with the above direction. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
