This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the first respondent to withdraw the case registered in Crime No.124 of 2019, on the file of the fourth respondent and entrust the same to the second respondent for completing the investigation and to file a final report. 1/3

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the petition mentioned Crime Number (Crime No.124 of 2019), the fourth respondent herein had completed the investigation and filed a final report on 12.08.2020 as "undetected".

4.Therefore, in view of the said submission, the question of transfer the investigation does not arise. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
