ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to make an alternate arrangement with respect to the electricity line which is drawn upon the petitioner's house leading to the 2nd respondent's house situated at No.71, Pandidurai 1st Street, Kulavanigarpuram, Melappalayam, Tirunelveli District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2019.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that it is not correct on the part of the petitioner to claim that the electricity line is being drawn upon the house of the petitioner. But, one consumer line is drawn in front of the petitioner's house along with lane.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent, this Court direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2019 and verify as to whether the electricity line is drawn upon the petitioner's house endangering the life of the petitioner and his family and incase of any danger identified, take appropriate steps in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
