This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the revenue records and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property situated at Survey No.751, Manjanayakkanpatti, Sirukudi Post, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District by considering the representation made by the petitioner on 12.06.2021.

2.Heard Mr.S.Abuthaheer, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Ms.D.Farjana Ghousia, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, based on the written instructions received from the first respondent, submitted that 2/5

there is no scope for considering the claim made by the petitioner, since the subject property has been classified as "Theru" (njU). In view of the same, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the representation made by the petitioner cannot be acted upon and that patta cannot be granted in favour of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

4.In the light of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
