ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari District to dispose of C.C.No.97 of 2007 within a fixed time frame.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the trial has been commenced and P.Ws.1 to 3 have been examined.

4. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Nagercoil, Kanyakumar District, to complete the proceedings pending in C.C.No.97 of 2007, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
