(CRIME NO.875/2021) ... RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition imposed in order dated 22/07/2021 passed in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.9736 of 2021.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.T.INDRACHITHU, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.P.KOTTAI CHAMY, Government Advocate(crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9736 of 2021 dated 22.07.2021 as against the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this petitioner was granted bail, by this Court on 22.07.2021, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9736 of 2021, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the concerned Magistrate and report before the respondent Police, namely, Inspector of Police, Anna Nagar Police Station, Madurai, daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders. As per the direction of this Court, the petitioner executed a bond on 23.07.2021 and produced sureties to the satisfaction of the concerned Magistrate. Thereafter, he was released from jail. After that, he went to Madurai and appeared before the respondent Police on 26.07.2021. CRL MP(MD) No.5327 of 2021 Police Station, he noticed that his movement was watched by some unidentified persons. Since his rivals are residing at Madurai, he will be facing life threat from his rivals. Therefore, he seeks to modify the condition and permit him to appear before the Kandharvakottai Police Station.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted hat the petitioner has complied with the condition for three days only.

4. Being not satisfied with the reasons assigned in supporting affidavit, this Court is not inclined to modify the conditions. If the petitioner is facing any life threat, it is open to the petitioner to give a complaint to the concerned Police Station, where, he is reporting.
