: Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to close the Liquor Shop No.5404, at Mottaya Naickenpatti Village within the limit of Karumathur Union within the Taluk Limit of Usilampatti, Madurai District permanently, based on the petitioner's representation dated 19.03.2019 made to the respondents herein.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner has filed this Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to close the TASMAC shop on the ground of alleged violation.

2. On a perusal of the counter affidavit filed by the respondents, we do not find any violation in existence. In fact, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.8496 of 2019 even before locating the shop, a detailed study was conducted. This Court cannot conduct a roving enquiry. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
