ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 not to transfer the patta in favour of the third respondent with respect to the property in Survey No.572/4B, situated in Mangkottai Village, Karambakudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, until the disposal of the present Writ Petition.

2. Today, when the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that the suit filed in respect of the same subject property was dismissed for default and, thereafter, the Patta was transferred in the name of the petitioner's son, as sought by her.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission and considering the fact that the Patta has already been transferred in the name of the petitioner's son, this Court finds that the cause of action in the present Writ Petition does not survive. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
