ORDER

The petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 05.01.2019 made by the petitioner to the respondents 1 to 3 herein by considering the same in accordance with the law and the procedure within the time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

3. According to the petitioner, she made a representation to the respondents seeking cancellation of the electricity service connection granted to third parties, since the property in question belongs to the petitioner. As the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2019 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and to the person who obtained the electricity service connection.
